Dear Editor, 

I was reminded yesterday as I read in a weekly magazine about the 1,400 cities and towns across the U.S. that have had a newspaper close over the past 15 years, of how grateful I am for the Tryon Daily Bulletin. We have subscribed ever since I arrived in the area 15 years ago, and it has kept me informed of all the things happening in our area. You are our watchful eye on the local politics; you keep records of our school sports and honor the lives of our residents in their local doings as well as their obituaries.
