This is the culmination of two visits from the UNC-TV crew last year, which was arranged by the Polk County Tourism Department. The visit has resulted in four different features on Polk County.&bsp; First there was the After Dark feature on the Purple Onion in Saluda.&bsp; Then there was a piece on Saluda, which was meant to include Pearsons Falls in detail.&bsp; The story was cut short and there was only a brief mention of Pearsons Falls, despite lots of quality footage and interviews. &bsp;

Young says she remained in touch with Deborah Holt Noel, the shows host, and pitched other story ideas that could include the use of the waterfall footage they had.&bsp; So, on their next trip, they filmed a wine weekend story and also a trip on the Green River with Green River Adventures. &bsp;

The wine weekend story ran in the fall.&bsp; And now tonight, UNC-TV will show the Pearsons Falls & Green River Adventures piece in what Holt informally called the “Waters of Polk County. “
