Personnel recognized for accomplishment, years of service

 

GREEN CREEK— On Saturday, January 18, Green Creek Fire Rescue held its annual award banquet, celebrating the many accomplishments and milestones of the brave men and women who serve their community.

The 2024 awards were presented to each winner by Chief Jeremy Gregg, where they received a special plaque for their recognition and hard work over the fiscal year. 

Crystal Cordell won Officer of the Year, Daniel Elliot won Firefighter of the Year, and Tim Cordell won First Responder of the Year. Daniel Prokopchuk won two awards—Most Training Hours and Most Improved.

Additionally, many staff members were recognized for their time spent as Green Creek Fire Rescue employees.

Patrick Corn was recognized for five years of service, Tim Cordell for ten years of service, and Jim Torongeau for 20 years of service.

William Page received the most honorable and decorated award of the night for his 60 years of service. He received a unique plaque recognizing his hard work and dedication throughout the years.
