TRYON—Local author Elizabeth (Liz) Redhead Kriston will be at The Book Shelf for a book signing on Friday, August 25th from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of downtown Tryon’s Fourth Friday event.
Kriston and her family discovered “the friendliest town in the South” three summers ago and immediately fell in love with the community. After numerous visits, they decided to make Tryon their home. In addition to continuing her career as a speech-language pathologist and author, she recently opened a small business, I2I FASD Services, LLC.
Kriston will be signing her eight children’s books, including Invincible Not Invisible, A Peanut Sat a Railroad Track, and Pants on Ants. Some of the books are in very limited supply, so folks are encouraged to come by early.
Kriston’s publisher, Dynamic Resources, aims to make the books affordable. Each copy is just $9.95.
The Book Shelf is located at 17 S. Trade St. in Tryon.
