TRYON—Graduation Sunday was held at the First Baptist Church of Tryon on May 11.

The Reverend Dr. Jeff Harris recognized 2025 graduates of Polk County High School and Rollins Carter, a 2025 graduate of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. 

The following students continuing their education were awarded a $1,000 scholarship: Hattie Crawford, who is attending Isothermal Community College; Laney Littlefield, who will attend USC-Upstate; Harper Harris, who will attend Appalachian State University; and Hayden Blackwell, who will attend the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
