During the month of April 2018, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 645 calls for service.

There were seven felony arrests, 19 misdemeanor arrests and 24 citations issued.

Officers served 82 civil papers, 45 criminal papers, completed 1,026 house checks, 3,038 business checks, 1,706 church checks, assisted the public three times and patrolled 26,926 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 69 inmates, including 51 males and 18 females.
