Published 4:11 pm Tuesday, September 5, 2017
With southeastern Texas, southern Louisiana and the Gulf region currently recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey, Polk County High School students are gearing up to support those in need.
PCHS students and faculty are showing their support for families affected by Harvey by collecting supplies to send as aid. Needed supplies include: diapers, blankets, canned food items, school supplies, flashlights, batteries of all sizes, first aid kits, duct tape, plastic garbage bags, can openers and bottled water.
Local residents wanting to help with donations can drop items off at the front office of Polk County High School or send them with a student to school. Collection of items will begin Tuesday and will continue through Friday afternoon.
Please join Polk County High School in rallying together to show our Wolverine resolve to help families in need!
