Meth lab discovered inside camper in Green Creek

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office busted a methamphetamine lab this week that

was being operated in a camper in Green Creek.

Darin Alexander Bovee, 37, of 891 Meadow Creek Rd. was arrested and charged with injury to real property, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursors for methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine, according to sheriff reports.

On Tuesday, June 7, the Polk County PACE team conducted an investigation into the operation after receiving a tip from the public.

The information led the team to investigation a possible clandestine methamphetamine lab operating in the Green Creek area of Polk County.
