Hill receives 21 months in prison for indecent liberties with a child

A Columbus man pleaded guilty last week to felony indecent

liberties with a child and received a 10-21 month sentence in prison.

pleaded guilty in Polk County Superior Court to one count of indecent liberties with a child. Hill received 10-21 months in prison but was given credit for 625 days already served, according to court records.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested Hill, of Scott Lane, Columbus, on June 9, 2014. Hill was originally charged with one count of felony first-degree sex offense of a child and two counts of felony indecent liberties with a child, according to sheriff’s office reports.

Hill was given a $140,000 bond upon his arrest.

The offenses were allegedly committed on a child under the age of 12, according to sheriff’s office records.
