If you are running a small business or thinking about starting one, there is no need to go it alone. Marketing your business on a shoestring budget is the topic for the next seminar, scheduled for Aug. 13.

Isothermal Community College (ICC), SCORE Polk County Chapter, and the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce offer a series of FREE seminars to existing businesses and start-ups in Polk and Rutherford Counties, Landrum, and the surrounding Foothills area.

Seminars are scheduled for Thursday evenings, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Isothermal

Community College Small Business Center, Polk County, 1255West Mills St., Columbus, N.C., Room 107.

Further seminars to be announced based on input from attendees. All business owners and employees of small businesses and potential start-ups are requested to pre-register at ICC Small Business Center by calling 828-395-1416.
