Polk County District Court results for Sept. 24

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 222 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Amy V. Alexander was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Alexander was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Jason Desmond Baker was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Baker was fined $75 and court costs.
Nicholas Scott Baker was convicted of two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of marijuana ½ to one and ½ ounce and misdemeanor breaking and or entering. Baker was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs for breaking and or entering.
Nisha Sherlin Banks was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Banks was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Eric Charles Benjamin was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and fictitious information to officer. Benjamin was sentenced to 11 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Donald Wilde Bickel was convicted of deposit litter on N.C. public waters. Bickel was fined $50 and court costs.
Minerva Palacio Cruz was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Cruz was fined $50 and court costs.
Kara J. Decoste was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Decoste was sentenced to one year supervised probation, nine days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Kara J. Decoste was convicted of inhale toxic vapors. Decoste was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
Kara Jeanne Decoste was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Decoste was sentenced to one year supervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Leslie Hope Gibson was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Gibson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Michael A. Hebbeler was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hebbeler was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jonathan Hirsbrunner was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hirsbrunner was fined $30 and court costs.
Regina Genth Johnson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Freddie S. Jones was convicted of impaired equipment. Jones was fined $40 and court costs.
Caleb E. Kunath was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Kunath was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jessie Njeri Macharia was convicted of impaired equipment. Macharia was fined $40 and court costs.
Tyler Hope Mark was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Mark was sentenced to one year supervised probation, eight days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
James Vincent Monroe was convicted of resisting public officer and disorderly conduct in a public building. Monroe was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Thomas Olin Monts III was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Monts was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Mark Dewayne Murray was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Murray was to pay court costs.
Brice Spencer Nash was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Nash was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Maggie Kay Pace was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Pace was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jean Jolley Pack was convicted of impaired equipment. Pack was fined $40 and court costs.
Cora Louise Pickens was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Pickens was fined $50 and court costs.
John Will Picklesimer was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Picklesimer was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
William John Plank Jr. was convicted of reckless driving to endanger and unsafe passing yellow line. Plank was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Stanley Dean Presnell was convicted of misdemeanor simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Presnell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Tiffany Renae Raburn was convicted of speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone. Raburn was fined $30 and court costs.
David Sanchez Ramirez was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Ramirez was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail with credit, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jeremy Tyson Ravan was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Ravan was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for six days.
Moranda Nicole Stover was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Stover was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Susan Mary St. Pierre was convicted of impaired equipment. Stpierre was fined $40 and court costs.
Stacy Lynn Strickland was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Strickland was fined $100 and court costs.
Susan Burger Tine was convicted of impaired equipment. Tine was fined $40 and court costs.

Patricia Ann Turner was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Turner was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Kevin Marshall Waters was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone and reckless driving-wanton disregard. Waters was sentenced to 30 days with credit for time served and court costs.
Matthew Neasbit Wilson was convicted of resisting public officer and intoxicated and disruptive. Wilson was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
James Douglas Wuamett was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Wuamett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Travis Young was convicted of felony probation violation. Young was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.
