Laurel Hurst residents recently collected cat and dog food, dog treats, old towels and blankets, and toys for the animals at the Foothills Humane Society. Michelle, an employee there, was nice enough to give a tour of the facility and to introduce them to all the cats and kittens and the dogs who were very vocal in saying “Hello.” Residents were very happy to be able to donate items and had a nice afternoon with the animals.
