Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 90 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Kathleen Krydyn Byrd was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor probation out of county. Byrd’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Billy Joe Clayton was convicted of four counts of misdemeanor probation violation. Clayton’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Heather Rae DeYoung was convicted of common law forgery and common law uttering. DeYoung was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Daniel Badge Franklin was convicted of profane language in highway. Franklin was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation.
Russell Jon Hammond was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hammond was fined $30 and court costs.
Deborah Ann Holland was convicted of common law forgery and common law uttering. Holland was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Robin Keith Hollifield was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Hollifield was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 24 hours in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Laura Lee Laughter was convicted of assault by pointing a gun. Laughter was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 36 hours of community service and court costs.
Jeff Patterson was convicted of profane language from highway. Patterson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation.
Randy Yates Roach was convicted of inmate possession of tobacco/phone elec. Roach was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for time served.
Ricky A. Tucker was convicted of communicating threats. Tucker was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
