Workers pour concrete to reshape the intersection of Trade Street and New Market Road in Tryon. The work, which is part of Tryon’s Streetscape, will change the intersection to more of a 90-degree angle and add a crosswalk for pedestrians and an area for plantings, as well as a bump out. Drainage improvements, sidewalks and other landscaping are also planned, along with more parking along McCown Street, which will become a one-way street.
