TRYON—Changed, a well-known local gospel group, will sing at Roseland Community Center’s Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 21.

The group, led by Polk County resident Robert Staley, features a fabulous repertoire of traditional gospel songs and outstanding vocalists. African drummer Adama Dembele of Asheville’s African Drum and Dance Community and DJ Eric Washington Jr. of Charlotte will also appear, keeping the music going throughout the afternoon.

The celebration will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and features food trucks, dancing, a cakewalk, bounce houses,  historical exhibits, and numerous other activities for adults and children, all free of charge thanks to a generous grant from the Mary F. Kessler Fund at PCCF.
