Landrum Outdoor Craft Fair highlights local creativity

LANDRUM—On Saturday morning, the Landrum Outdoor Craft Fair, held in conjunction with the Landrum Farmers Market, returned with a showcase of local craftsmanship after being rescheduled due to a rain delay. Vendors filled the grassy area next to the market, offering an array of handmade goods that attracted a steady stream of shoppers.
Jewelry enthusiasts were treated to a fantastic selection, with Recombinant Jewelry from Greenville presenting unique pieces crafted from local gemstones and minerals. Bejeweled Permanent Jewelry showcased custom-fit chains and bracelets, while Bright Family Jewelry from Tigerville delighted visitors with their adorable handmade bracelets.
The tactile craftsmanship continued with Rick’s Wood Creations out of Moore, who offered beautifully designed handmade handles, sheaths, and blades. Joy Plumley of Townville displayed her stunning handmade creations, while Brandon Knox, a farrier from Green Creek, presented his intricately crafted knives. Mrs. Sprague’s Butters, Balms & Salves from Welford captured attention with a delightful range of skincare products in various fragrances.
In addition to these artisans, vendors such as Cheryl’s Paint Upon Pillows, Teresa’s Treasures, Dancing Doggies, Melia Grace Designs Co., Decorative Door and More, Gourmet Pop, and artist Cynthia Schafer contributed to a rich market atmosphere filled with art, crafts, food items, and unique treasures for every shopper.
Many crafters praised the Landrum Farmers Market staff and the Town of Landrum for fostering such a friendly and welcoming environment. Vendors noted the strong sense of community, as both new and returning customers engaged with exhibitors, highlighting the importance of connection in local markets.
