Dear Aunty Pam,

 

My wife is going through the menopause and I feel like I have to tuck and roll whenever she walks into a room. She’s in a bad mood all the time and doesn’t sleep which makes her even grouchier. In fact, she gets mad at me because I can sleep and no matter what I say, she bites my head off. Today, I got yelled at for doing something she asked me to do yesterday.

She gets hot flashes all the time so she’s taken to not wearing a bra around the house. I work out of the house and so we get a lot of deliveries and I don’t think she ought to be opening the door and giving guys an eyeful every time they drop off the package, but I’m scared to say anything to her.

How long do these menopause symptoms last and what should I do with her opening the door with her Double ‘Ds?’

How long do symptoms last? Foreverrrrrrrrrrr. 

And regarding her opening the door bra less? She’ll do what every woman who has taken off her bra does when opening the door: cross her arms and assume the guys can’t tell.
