POLK COUNTY—The Foundation for St. Luke’s Hospital recently announced its $1 million Surgical Excellence Campaign has been fulfilled.

“Polk County residents are incredibly caring for one another and the health of this community,” said Wendy Hamil, Executive Director of The Foundation for St. Luke’s Hospital. “Their giving spirit and thoughtfulness to support AdventHealth Polk continues to ensure world-class healthcare exists in Polk County. We are grateful to have such a generous community.”

The Surgical Excellence Campaign funds the purchase of state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment, orthopedic power tools, patient monitors, sterilization equipment, and electrocautery equipment. This advanced equipment means shorter recovery times and more cost-effective surgical approaches while meeting the highest safety and efficiency standards.
