“We will take the audience on an exciting musical journey through Scotland, Ireland, and Brittany,” says Laval. “The show will recount mythic tales from the ancient Celtic world, reimagining Gaelic love songs and rustic peasant dances.”

Laval is acclaimed throughout the U.S. and Great Britain as a premier performer of traditional instrumental Celtic music and original compositions inspired by ancient Highland bagpiping. He won the U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Championship, performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and presented a TEDx Talk on the value of music and arts in our communities.

Rose, a rising star on the vocal horizon, is becoming increasingly in demand in the world of opera. Her soaring, angelic voice brings to mind a fairytale-like quality in ancient airs and ballads. Amber’s musical versatility sees her performing folk music regularly with Laval.

She was the first-place winner of the District Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and recently made her first international appearance performing in the magnificent Teatro Comunale in Italy.

Seating is limited to 100 in TFAC’s intimate new pavilion space. Tickets are $25 and available at tryonarts.org or by calling (828) 859-8322.
