With support from the Seasonal Assistance Grant from the Polk County Community Foundation, individual donors, families, civic and social groups, local businesses, and contributions from the Polk County Toy Run, Steps to Hope has been able to provide holiday gifts to children who might otherwise have nothing under the tree—or no tree at all.

As Christmas approaches, Steps to Hope is reaching out to potential donors and will begin accepting applications from needy families starting November 1. If you or your organization would like to participate, please call 828-894-2340 or email info@stepstohope.org.

Additionally, “Christmas elves” are needed to help wrap gifts. Volunteers will be treated to coffee, hot chocolate, and Christmas goodies as they help create some holiday magic.

Join Steps to Hope in making this Christmas special for children who need it most. Your support can bring smiles and joy to families in need this holiday season.

Steps to Hope is a domestic violence and sexual assault center located in Columbus serving Polk County and the Upstate. To learn more, visit stepstohope.org
