Event set for August 3
COLUMBUS—A unique and playful fundraiser is set to take place at Foothills Humane society where attendees will be able to take part in a pilates class while enjoying the company of puppies.
The pilates class will be taught by local pilates instructor Kate Horton, the owner of Melt Pilates in Campobello and will be suitable for every age and experience level. The puppies set to accompany attendees during the class are sure to add some fun to the fundraiser.
The class will take place on Saturday, August 3 at 9 a.m. at the shelter, and will cost $15 per person with all proceeds being donated to the humane society. The class will last approximately 50 minutes.
“If you’ve been wanting to try Pilates, this is a great low pressure, low cost, and fun way to try it,” says FHS President Carol Parker. “And, it’s all for a great cause!”
To register, contact Kate Horton by texting or calling 864-804-2076. Foothills Humane Society is located at 989 Little Mountain Rd. in Columbus.
