The festival took place at Back Alley Boutique and Bud Bar, located at 28 Oak St., next to Brooks Tavern, and at the Tryon Depot. It had roughly 30 vendor booths, several non-profits, local artists, and crafters, and was DJ’d by Allison Betancourt.

“Today has seen a fantastic turnout. Everyone’s been absolutely fantastic. The turnout has been pretty decent, even with the rain. I can’t wait to see the sun come out.” said Daniel “Whiskey” Drake, an employee at the Back Alley Bud Boutique.

There was also a scavenger hunt with prizes such as tote bags, coffee mugs and T-shirts, and vendors served coffee and baked goods. Other vendors offered botanicals and bath and body products. Local musicians also performed on two different stages.

“It’s been popping off, and when the rain started dialing back a little bit it went from sparse to consistent to pretty flowy,” said Ryan Mesa, owner of Back Alley Boutique. “We all had a great time and really enjoyed the festivities.”
