The Rotary Club of Tryon is excited to recognize two members for their continued financial support of the Rotary International Foundation. Past District Governor Ken Shull was on hand to recognize Rotarians Charles McKeller and Fred Hartley as multiple Paul Harris Fellows.  

 

Charles and Fred have a combined 60 years of service to their community through Rotary membership. During that time, they have also provided significant financial contributions to support the philanthropic work being done by the Rotary International Foundation. 

 

The Rotary International Foundation is recognized as a 4-star charity (the highest level) by Charity Navigator with over 91% of donations going to support grants and operations. The mission of the Foundation is to help members advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
