Every few weeks the Rotary Club of Tryon sends a care package to Rotarian Capt. Andrew Morris and other Bravo Company soldiers stationed in Kuwait. Along with the standard food and personal care items normally included in the package, Rotarian Beth McCallister made sure this month’s package contained sunscreen.

In a message back to the Club about the sunscreen, Capt. Morris expressed his appreciation to the Rotary Club of Tryon for “saving this bald man’s life”.

Capt. Morris went on to say “I owe you all more than I could ever repay for the blessings and cheer you’ve given to Bravo Company 236 BEB.

Rotarians Bob & Judy Lair organized the care package deliveries as” a token of how much we appreciate Andrew and his company and their service to our country.”

The Rotary Club of Tryon is looking forward to having Capt. Morris back with his family and the Club soon.
