While we are all living under the extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID-19 virus, your downtown merchants need your help.

Downtown businesses are all using special measures to insure your safety, especially those of us who sell any type of consumables.  Actually, we generally follow these practices as a matter of course. They include wearing gloves to handle any unpackaged items; cleaning surfaces, like counters, after every customer; sanitizing door handles and all bathroom surfaces and handles.

In other words, we are doing everything possible to make shopping downtown a safe and comfortable experience.

Your downtown restaurants are ready and able to prepare meals that you can order and pick up.

Downtown shops are putting up a special, joint website that will enable you to order items by phone, email or online and have them taken out to your car if you’re wary of coming in the building.  Many of us have special items for Easter and we all ship.

So please give us the support we need to get us through this difficult time.  We’d all like to still be here when this crisis has passed and, without your help, that’s not going to happen.
