The Polk County Community Foundation funded two interns, James Smith (left) and Nicholas Wilson, this past summer to work at the Polk County High School Farm. Both students are active in the Agricultural Education Program at Polk County High School. The students were responsible for caring and feeding the animals, and maintaining the apple trees, muscadine vineyard, blueberries and the farm grounds. (Submitted photo)
