Polk County District Court Results – July 18

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, with Judge Fritz Mercer presiding, 144 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Jessica Marie Boyd was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Boyd was fined $50.
Michael Austin Conner was convicted of level-five driving while impaired and fleeing/eluding arrest with motor vehicle. Conner was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, $110 in fines and court costs.
Tomeka Simone Gaines was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Gaines was fined $25.
Robert Eugene Harris was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and no operator’s license. Harris was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Dillion Ross Hill was convicted of possession/sell nontax paid alcohol and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Hill was sentenced to five days in jail.
Paul Patrick Hutchinson was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hutchinson was fined $25 and court costs.
Randal Lewis Marrinan was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Marrinan was fined $50.
Holden Eugene Owens was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Owens was fined $40 and court costs.
Jason Allen Fagan was convicted of failure to notify the DMV. Fagan was fined $100 and court costs.
Aaron Lee Proctor was convicted of failure to secure a passenger under 16. Proctor was to pay court costs.
Casey Ray Robinson was convicted of probation violation. Robinson was sentenced to 90 days in jail then terminate probation.
Jada Pierce Scruggs was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Scruggs was fined $25.
Kristen Elizabeth Spears was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Spears was fined $50 and court costs.
Lee Daniel Stratton was convicted of flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon. Stratton was sentenced to nine to 20 months in prison with credit for 21 days.
Jinsey Rayne Towery was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Towery was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Steven Brian Tyree was convicted of failure to appear. Tyree was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served.
Cody Tessner Wyatt was convicted of failure to stop at a stop sign/flashing red light. Wyatt was fined $50 and court costs.
Taylor Ashlan Youmans was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Youmans was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit for time served.
Travis Germaine Young was convicted of failure to notify the DMV. Young was fined $50 and court costs.
Suzanne A. Zoole was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Zoole was fined $50.
