During the month of January 2018, the Columbus Police Department answered 432 calls for service.  

There were two felony arrests, nine misdemeanor arrests and three fugitives arrested.  

There were 94 speeding citations, five no operator’s license, seven driving while license revoked, seven drug charges, seven uninsured motorists, 12 careless & reckless driving and 30 registration violations.  

Officers completed 8,904 premise checks, including 93 residences, 8,513 businesses and 298 churches.  

The Columbus Police Department was requested to assist other agencies eight times, completed 538 community patrols and received 32 hours in training.
