Foothills community, this is your chance to join the fun that is Green Creek Hounds. It has become a tradition at Opening Hunt to offer the chance to members of our community to ride on wagons and watch the Blessing of the Hounds. From the special view of the wagons, you also will see the pageantry of the horses, riders, and the actual hunt.

Our Tally Ho wagons have become extremely popular and will be filled and there is always a waiting list. Because of this we have added another wagon this year, that will make four, and have developed a plan for signing up. Please follow the directions below to reserve a seat on one of the Green Creek Hounds wagons. You don’t want to miss this.

No reservation will be accepted without payment and it is first received  who get to be part of the pageantry that is Opening Hunt. There is a fee for non-members. Make checks out to Green Creek Hounds. There are no refunds, as this is a fundraising event for the hunt.

The price includes your ride on the wagon, drinks, food and an invitation to the Masters Breakfast, which follows the hunt and is held at the lovely Watson House on John Watson Rd. You will receive directions and times of events once your reservation is recorded. Basically, be prepared to have fun from around 9:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. on November 11. It is an event you will remember forever.

Non-member sign up begins September 21. No early sign ups. We will fill the slots, first come first served.
