Board members are sought who have a deep interest in the success of Tryon as an economically viable historic area. Those who have experience in marketing, good organization skills or event planning are particularly invited to apply.

The mission of TDDA is to preserve and enhance the community of Tryon through application of the N.C. Main Street program which promotes excellent town design, preservation of historic assets and cooperation among all stakeholders.  TDDA works closely with the Town of Tryon, the Tryon Travel & Tourism Board as well as all other local groups who have similar goals.
