The Polk County Republican Party will host a prime rib dinner on Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Polk County Middle School at 6 p.m.
The dinner will be held to honor 13 men and women who were instrumental in making the Republican Party what it is today.
The two distinguished guests speaking to the group will be New York Times best selling author Dr. William Forstchen and North Carolina Senator Ralph Hise.
William Forstchen, best known for his novel “One Second After”, will be discussing what will likely happen in the event of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack on the United States.
