The Taste of Our Carolina Foothills Wine & Food Event takes place on Sunday, Sept. 28 at Overmountain Vineyard in Tryon from 1-5 p.m. Suzanne Strickland needs volunteers for two shifts at the event. 
The shifts available are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2-6 p.m. Volunteers get into the event for free and get to taste all the good food and wine. She needs about 20 volunteers.
