Residents at LaurelHurst honor veterans

On Monday, May 26 LaurelHurst held a Memorial Day Celebration. Ralph Kuether was the speaker, and he did a great job of honoring our veterans, the wives of veterans and the three LaurelHurst veterans who passed away in the last year. Homeward Angels released a single dove for each of those veterans before releasing a bunch for all veterans.

Betty, Paulene, Ailene, Pat and Ruth were allowed to pet a dove.
After the celebration, residents like Lois enjoyed chocolate covered strawberries.
