‘If These Hills Could Talk’
Published 10:15 am Friday, March 2, 2012
On Wednesday’s we published our first annual edition of Progress, “If These Hills Could Talk”. A full color, magazine style publication, we attempted to capture some of the fascinating stories of our area. Our entire staff has been involved in creating this edition for you, our dear readers, and as you should be, you’re a tough audience at times. So it was with abated breath I waited for your reaction.
Wednesday morning we began receiving phone calls and walk-in requests for more copies of the edition. Comments of, “this is terrific”, “I want more copies to share with my out of town guests”, family, etc. filled my ears and I breathed a sign of relief; we met your approval. Something our staff strives towards each and everyday, after all, we are your newspaper.
If you didn’t get a chance to a chance to read the edition or would like an extra copy to share with your neighbors or friends, please stop by the office at 16 N. Trade Street in Tryon, where we will gladly give you one as long as they last.
