Everyone plays.
According to Davis, there won&squo;t be a normal starting lineup. On this team, everyone&squo;s equal
The Lady Wolverines will be a nonstop, speedy force this season when they step out onto the court. They won&squo;t be a big team, but Davis says that doesn&squo;t matter.
&dquo;We are very small and fast so we will try to use that to our advantage instead of looking at it as a disadvantage,&dquo; he said. &dquo;If a team is able to keep up with our tempo we may be in trouble, but it will be fun to see.&dquo;
The top two players returning this season for the Lady Wolverines statiscally are Denise Edwards and Kiki Miller. Both were leading scorers last season. Other players returning from last year&squo;s team include Kayla Byrd, Mary Kathryn Hemphill, Kaitlin Franks, and Brandy McDowell.
Newcomers will include Brooke Campbell, Sammy Mazzilli, Haley Price, Toya Twitty and Randa Godsey. Aside from a constant team mentality, Polk&squo;s mission is simple.
&dquo;We need to get after it,&dquo; Davis said.
The Lady Wolverines will be speedy and aggressive.
Polk County finished 19-9 last season and graduated four seniors.
