JewelryFest will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Rutherford County Visual Arts Center with demonstrations, mini-classes and refreshments. Several jewelry designers will give free demonstrations of their techniques for working with various stones and metals.

Participants in mini-classes will be able to make valentine gifts of a “dancing heart” necklace (at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.) or a pair of sweetheart earrings (at 11:45 a.m. or 2:15 p.m.).

JewelryFest is part of the on-going Jewelry Trunk Show which continues through Feb. 19. Admission to JewelryFest is free. The Rutherford County Visual Arts Center is at 160 N. Main Street, Rutherfordton. Hours are 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
