To the Editor:

Sorry Birdland, column June 2. No cigar.

Your very touching care had nothing to do with Obamacare, a monstrosity our grandchildren will be burdened with.

You should have applied the words, Those who would destroy it (rather than changing the unworkable parts) to the before-Obamacare situation.

We need a controlled expansion of what we already had to cover the really uncovered American citizens, no the illegals, not those who dont want insurance. Yes, we need universal healthcare, but I resent the implication that if youre not for Obamacare, you are mean-spirited, elitist or race-prejudiced, a typical left-wing ploy.
