SALUDA—On Thursday, July 24, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., the City of Saluda is inviting residents for a morning of coffee and conversation with a Saluda City Commissioner. This community-oriented event will take place at Wakey Monkey, located at 28 Church Street, just around the corner from Main Street, behind City Hall.

There’s no formal agenda, allowing for an open dialogue where residents can ask questions, share ideas, and foster connections with their local leaders in a casual and friendly environment.

“It’s a great opportunity to engage with the community and understand the needs and ideas of our residents,” said the City of Saluda in a statement.

In addition to this event, the City of Saluda has recently announced the launch of its new AI-powered chatbot, designed to enhance support for residents and streamline city services. This innovative tool joins a growing network of local governments leveraging AI technology to improve service delivery. The chatbot will provide 24/7 answers to common questions, enhance transparency, lighten the load for frontline staff, and support communication in over 75 languages.
