Event to feature free health screenings, educational resources and more
TRYON—On Saturday, June 7, AdventHealth Polk and The Hospital Foundation are hosting the 4th annual Men’s Health Tune-Up and Car, Truck & Bike Show at Harmon Field in Tryon. The event will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
In honor of National Men’s Health Month, this free community event promises a day filled with activities to promote health awareness among men. Attendees can look forward to a car show featuring cars, trucks, and motorcycles alongside free health screenings and educational resources related to men’s health issues.
In addition to the car show, there will be a variety of prizes, including People’s Choice Awards for each category and health fair door prizes. Breakfast will be provided at no cost to attendees, ensuring a healthy start to the day.
This initiative reflects AdventHealth Polk and The Hospital Foundation’s commitment to encouraging health awareness and community engagement. The Ann Jacob Toms Fund at the Polk County Community Foundation makes the event possible, underscoring the collaborative spirit of local partners dedicated to enhancing community health.
