SALUDA—In a timely development for the community, the Saluda Pantry has officially relocated to its original site at 54 Carolina Avenue.

This move follows extensive repairs and updates, which were made possible by the generous contributions of the Polk County Community Foundation and Feeding America.

The pantry had been temporarily situated at 150 E. Main Street after being displaced by Tropical Storm Helene’s impacts. Thanks to grants from these organizations, the Saluda Pantry has enhanced its facility, ensuring it remains a safe and fully stocked resource for those experiencing food insecurity.

The Pantry is excited to continue serving the community in a newly improved space. The recent renovations are designed to better meet the needs of those who rely on us for food assistance.

The pantry will continue to operate under its regular hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The organization expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Tim and Sarah Bell for providing a temporary home at Green River Adventures.

Community members are encouraged to visit the Saluda Pantry at its original location for essential food assistance as it resumes its critical role in supporting those in need. For more information visit, saludapantry.com.
