SALUDA—Heartwood Gallery recently announced its annual Holiday Fundraiser, which will feature a unique ornament designed to give back to the community this holiday season.
For 2024, the gallery has selected a beautifully handcrafted ceramic ornament featuring the theme “Home,” created by artist Gina DeSantis from Lakewood, Ohio.
The “Home” ornament embodies the core values of what home means to many: a place to reside, a point of origin, shelter from life’s storms, and a haven for love. The ornament serves as a reminder of the support provided by Outreach, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Polk County residents in need since 1991. Outreach has been instrumental in supplying financial and food assistance to thousands, ensuring that families have access to essential resources such as heating, medical aid, and nutrition.
The proceeds from the sale of the ornament, available for $16 each, contribute directly to Outreach. All proceeds will be allocated to where funds are needed most within the community.
This initiative is a heartfelt way to give back during the season of giving.
“We are excited to partner with Outreach and support their vital work in our community,” said a representative from Heartwood Gallery. “This ornament isn’t just a decoration; it’s a symbol of hope and assistance for those who need it most this winter.”
Visitors are encouraged to stop by Heartwood Gallery this holiday season to purchase their ornament and help spread warmth and care within Polk County. By gifting this ornament, you add a beautiful piece to your holiday decor and contribute to meaningful change in the lives of many.
