COLUMBUS—On Thursday, September 19, Jim Brown will join the Blue Ridge Writers’ Roundtable to discuss his history in writing and newspaper publishing. 

Brown, a reporter turned editor turned publisher with decades of experience in the newspaper industry, will share his gift, spirit, and memories with the group. Brown served as the publisher of The Daily Courier in Forest City from March 1998 to January 2010.
