Summer Stampede Rodeo Series held every other Saturday through October
LANDRUM—Latigo Farm, located in the Gowensville area, is hosting its Summer Stampede Rodeo Series every other Saturday night through October, offering an exciting experience and entertainment for the whole family.
Latigo Farm hosts a range of activities, such as horse riding lessons, horse boarding and 4-H clubs, but its rodeo events truly captivate audiences.
From bull and steer riding to calf roping and barrel racing, the Summer Stampede Series showcases the bold spirit of cowboy and cowgirl competitions. The rodeo and the crowd’s excitement create an unforgettable atmosphere, organizers say.
Presented by EA Livestock Company and Live Action Rodeo Company, the rodeo kicks off at 7:30 p.m. with the kids competing in sheep riding, followed by various competitions for kids and adults alike.
The bull riding event begins at 9:30 p.m., where riders showcase their skill and courage as they attempt to stay on the backs of powerful bulls for eight seconds. The cowgirls then take the spotlight with pole bending and barrel racing events.
The upcoming Summer Stampede dates are August 3, August 17, August 31, September 14, October 12, October 19, and October 26. Admission is $10 for anyone over five years of age, cash only.
Latigo Farm is located at 3472 Highway 414 in Landrum.
