Landrum cyclist dies after being struck by vehicle in Campobello

CAMPOBELLO—A Landrum woman has died after being struck by a vehicle while cycling in Campobello on Wednesday morning.
Carol Jean Vosburgh, 78, was rear-ended by a Buick sedan while riding her bicycle on East Frontage Road near Kelseys Mill Road, according to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger.
Vosburgh was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where she died due to her injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
