TRYON—Soap Bubble Circus and Criss, Cross Mangosauce will perform at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church of Tryon during this year’s Super Saturday festival.

Remember the giant bubbles on Melrose Avenue at last year’s Super Saturday? This year, bubbleologist Steve Langley is a main stage act and will present his amazing show at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Few things in the world so perfectly combine art, science, math and joy in the way that bubbles do! 

The Soap Bubble Circus is a one-of-a-kind, amazing and educational experience that mixes comedy, music and interactive magic to engage and delight audiences of all ages.

Criss, Cross Mangosauce is a must-see treat for children and families interested in the Spanish language and Latinx culture. Their interactive performances make children move and sing in both English and Spanish, using a combination of traditional Latin rhythms and classic American children’s rhymes. They also introduce sing-along stories and games from various countries in Latin America. 

Children (and adults!) will enjoy the vibrant sound of exotic congas, a traditional Venezuelan cuatro and castanets (among other instruments) at the 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. shows.
