In Polk County District Court on Feb. 15, 2023, with Judge Abe Hudson presiding, 62 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.  

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

 

Danalynn Michelle Gabaree was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Gabaree was sentenced to a $100 fine plus court costs, and 12 months of supervised probation.

 

Stephen Carlyle Taylor was convicted of driving without a license and resisting a public officer.  Taylor was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Ryan John Settle was convicted of speeding (79 mph in a 70 mph zone). Settle was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Diana Ruth Coppedge was convicted of speeding (79 mph in a 65 mph zone). Coppedge was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

William Robert Graf was convicted of speeding (50 mph in a 35 mph zone). Graf was fined $86 plus court costs.

 

William Matthew Holmes was convicted of driving with an expired registration card or tag. Holmes was fined $193 plus court costs.
