The Foothills Music Club is pleased to announce the Young Musicians Scholarship Auditions for 2023. High school students who are eligible to audition must live in or attend school in Polk or Rutherford County, or Landrum. Home-schooled high school students are included. The scholarships are to be applied to the cost of lessons, attendance at music camp, or repair/purchase of instruments.

 

The 2023 auditions will be held Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 at Tryon First Baptist Church on Pacolet Street in Tryon. The deadline for applications is Friday, February 3.

 

Students can obtain application forms and scholarship information from their school or private music teachers. Additional information or forms may also be requested by email or phone from Jeanette Shackelford, FMC scholarship chair, at 828-859-0461 or shackelford436@gmail.com.
