Local businesses set to support annual event
LANDRUM – On Saturday, November 6, the Dark Corner Classic Car Show will return to downtown Landrum. The Car Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on North Trade Avenue in Landrum.
Last year over 200 classic automobiles registered to enter the highly anticipated car show and the city of Landrum is expecting an even bigger turnout this year. Originally set to take place on October 1, the car show was rescheduled due to bad weather.
Registration to enter a vehicle will be at 9 a.m. on November 6, the day of the show. The cost to enter will be $20 per vehicle entry. The public can attend the show at no cost. All proceeds will go to a good cause. Last year, $5,000 was given to the Landrum Youth Association.
A host of local businesses are set to sponsor and support the event including Prince Gas, Keystone Self Storage, Gateway Realty, Orange Bear Motors, Geno’s Crane Service, Hardin’s Pest Management, The Hare and Hound Pub, Marketsold Realty, Landrum Hardware, Leroy Maybry Used Cars, and Stott’s Ford.
