In Polk County District Court on Sept. 14, 2022 with Judge Rick Walker presiding, 118 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Tiffany L. Blackwell was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Blackwell was fined $30 and court costs. 

Asiana Tiarra Caldwell was convicted of drive/allow registration plate not displayed. Caldwell was fined $20 and court costs. 

Jason Robert Fox was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Fox was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Jordan Scott Gray was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia and resisting public officer. Gray was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Ronald David Hyde II was convicted of resisting public officer and failure to appear. Hyde was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Kimberly Renee Moore was convicted of speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone. Moore was to pay court costs. 

Nichole Kristi Rapier was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Rapier was to pay court costs. 

Chinelo Ayinde Ray was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ray was to pay court costs. 

Rodney Camp Robertson was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Robertson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs. 

Tony Dale Robertson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Robertson was fined $25 and court costs. 

Sawyer F. Simmons was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Simmons was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Jordan D. Vickers was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance. Vickers was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
