Join Mark Shelton and Jacob Bullock for a Sunday Serenade Concert on September 18 at 3:00 p.m., in the sanctuary of The Congregational Church in Tryon or online.
Mark Shelton, originally from Mount Carmel, Tennessee, is a Spartanburg-based tenor vocalist. He is the Tenor Soloist and Section Leader at Central UMC of Spartanburg, recently performing Dubois’ The Seven Last Words of Christ and Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio. Jacob Bullock, a native of Rocky Top, Tennessee, is a Baritone whose experience spans a variety of styles, including opera, recital, sacred, and music theater. Both men are students of Dr. Susan Lyle who will be accompanying them.
The concert is free, but donations are gladly accepted. If attending in person, please bring a mask. The church Is located at 210 Melrose Avenue in Tryon. Parking is across the street. Should you have any questions, you may contact the church office at 828-859-9414 or see www.ucctryon.org.
